Croton Reservoir Tavern was opened in 2003, only a few blocks from Times Square. The restaurant was named in memory of the nearly forgotten Fortress Reservoir which used to stand in place of the current New York Public Library and Bryant Park.

Excellent spot for drinks. Great cocktails & lots of options to choose from. The ambiance was super chill & the staff was very friendly. They also have an outdoor area and it was such a good vibe, especially on a nice spring day.
We have an enjoyable time whenever we come to this restaurant. They are in a great location near bryant park. The food is always high quality no matter what you order.
I go there for their original/house beer on tap and the pretzel, an excellent respite near Bryant Park.
